ALAMEDA, Calif. -(BUSINESS WIRE)- Nov. 12, 1997 - Geoworks Corp. (NASDAQ:GWRX), a leading provider of smart phone software solutions and wireless content and services, today announced that it has teamed up with Zagat Survey, publisher of the United States' best-selling review guidebooks, to deliver reviews and ratings of restaurants, hotels and spas to users of mobile communications devices.

Under this agreement, Geoworks will create a wireless data servce featuring Zagat Survey's comprehensive dining and lodging information. This service will be licensed to operators who will be able to offer the service to their wireless device customers.

The agreement enables Geoworks to disseminate Zagat Survey's wealth of information to a highly targeted group of mobile consumers. Through the service, subscribers will be able to use their mobile devices to access important information and ratings anytime, anywhere. Users will be able to easily access summaries that include ratings, estimated prices, reviewer comments and door-to-door directions. The service also features interactive technology that will enable the users to use one button to call the restaurant or hotel for more information or to make reservations.
